I had to scramble to watch any football yesterday. I got power back at home today in time to watch one of the best MNF games of all time.

I'm going to say right now that a team from the NFC E wins the Superbowl. I hope it is the Cowboys but its going to come down the the team that makes at the end of the season and the Eagles, Giants or Cowboys all have the players to get there.

    Go Cowboys.

Lil Pun -- You updated your sig even before I could get back to comment on the game. We've got at least one more match this year I wouldn't be surprised if its two. That game could have gone either way. You will get your sig back eventually and I'm up for a rematch bet later this year. Those eagles are tough. Football at its best.

Did DeSean screw anyone else over with his ridiculous blunder??

This isn't necessarily the right thread, but I lost by six points when I had McNabb at QB and DeSean at WR. Could have won by six.

    This one hurts.

I just got back from the game. I've been to about 15 Cowboys games since 2000 and by far that is the loudest I've ever heard Texas Stadium. No one ever sat down and atomsphere was amazing. Romo continues to impress me, that kid is amazing. He's a a passing machine. I want to thank all the teams that passed up on Felix Jones, he was a steal at where we got em.

    hahahaha

I almost lost, but Romo overthrew Barber at the end. If Barber scored, I would have been screwed.

I don't see how any of that's dirty. Yeah the pass interference call was blown but how about those 2 blown facemask calls before that? Holding happens on almost every play, just up to the officials to call it, the reason you go low on Barber is because that is the only way to bring him down (have you seen him run? you better not try to go high in tackling him). I don't see how any of it is dirty weaselly but oh well.

My opponent had DeSean, and I had Westbrook......so, he got minus 6 and I got an extra 6......

How many times did they play Journey's- Don't stop believing? Ever since Tony took the reins it seems like it's been a constant at Cowboys games.

I said the same thing about Felix to a couple of Steelers friends of mine before the game. I'm sure Mendenhall will pan out for them but I don't think any Cowboys fan will have regrets about Felix. The dude is still not getting as many touches as the other rookie RBs but he produces. He will be something special.

Agreed, except for barber as that's the only way they can get him down...Total BS non-calls...

Wow, what a game...My son and I were loud and waking everyone up and it was just a fun game to watch...However, Dallas was lucky as they played sloppy, too many penelties, Roy getting burned sucked and where the hell was TO in the 2nd half...

    Bring on Green Bay...

The same can be said both ways. There were 3-4 facemasks penalties not called on Dallas which corresponds into 45-60 extra yards.

Very fun game, as ESPN said it was a Texas-sized shootout. Sloppy play was also all around. I cannot believe Johnson didn't blitz more, I counted maybe 5 the whole game. The Eagles passed way too much on first down and some of those play calls were embarrassing, especially the one where the fumble was lost. Considine should lose his job after this game as well, if the Eagles can cut a Pro Bowler like Lewis then Considine needs to go!

    GO PACKERS! ;)

Yeah. Anyone complaining about the refs just isn't looking at it objectivly. There were blown calls and no calls going both ways.

I was way worried about our sig bet for good portions of the game. I knew it would come down to one or two big plays.

LOL! I was worried about it all game and alas I lost.

The one big play that Owens has could have probably been prevented if it were not for Considine. If you look at the replay, Considine shoots up field when T.O. fakes like he is doing a comeback route. I was like OMG!!! what are you going to do if it is a comeback route, you're already 10 yards behind him and there was somebody there to tackle or slow him down. Then T.O. shoots up the field on a go route. Idiot.
