Asking this question to a group of people who mostly live in Houston, TX is going to lead to some pretty skewed results you realize... That said I think MLB is the best sport to see in person, 2nd only to college football to watch on TV, and is the best sport to follow overall. I watch some NHL playoff games but do not follow the regular season at all.
Good question. I'd probably have to go with MLB. However, if the question was MLB playoffs v. NHL playoffs, I'd definitely go NHL. Also, give me a rooting interest besides Dallas, and I'd probably pick NHL.
MLB is only enjoyable so long as your team is competaive. I cant sit down and watch someone other than my team play unless its the playoffs or a really good pitching matchup. As for NHL i pretty much ignore it but going to the actual games is pretty fun.
I prefer baseball...with the caveat you have to follow the whole season, a single game of baseball can be pretty boring, out of context.
Yea, you are right but you got to make due with what is in front of you. However, if this question was posed to the entire US, baseball would still win in a landslide. Canada is a different story, though.
i think it would be more fitting to have a NHL vs. WNBA poll. 3 years from now both these leagues could be gone.
That is so true, it's a hard choice. Since I watch neither, and if either is on I immediatly change the channel.
