~~A thread to post anything about the playoffs in the MLB.~~ Wish I could watch the 'stros. Anyways... Minn @ NY 3-1 Final I thought this was a good game. I was really happy to see the Yanks practicaly shut out. Eduardo looked aweful, he nearly handed the game over to the Yanks in his closing attempt. Cubs @ Braves 4-1 I have got to say, I am really surprised about how this game is going right now. Kerry wood is responsible for 3 of the Cub's runs. And he is just lights out. Throwing a 2 hitter with 8K's. Damn cubbies....
i know nothing about the mlb playoff system, but i kept hearing about the stros going for the division title, supposed to goto the world series.. and now they arent in the playoffs? what happened? (and if its not already obvious, i dont follow baseball closely)
Nothing much to say here. The same thing happens with the Astros every year. It's like how keep saying the Rockets will make it to the playoffs, but they don't. If your not already an Astros fan i wouldn't recommend becoming one now unless they sign a stud pitcher. Otherwise you will waste 162 days of the year.
