If anyone thought that after this moment then either they are REALLY pessimistic or don't know baseball. We had a 3-2 lead with Oswalt AND Clemens to pitch while they had already used Carpenter in game 5, we had the series, only thing that sucked was not clinching in front of the home fans.
After all we've gone through with the Oilers and the Astros in the 80's and late 90's, I'd be willing to bet that 90% of people in Houston thought "oh crap, it's our teams being our teams again"
I can see your point but Oswalt had dominated the Cards in game 2 and that team just felt different then any of the others. The Rangers haven't done anything of substance to believe they can rebound against the champs, they F'ed.
