exactly has anyone else ever seen him play before, how bout cutting the throw off from the center fielder
Seen it before. I remember in the '04 playoffs, I think in Game 1 of the WS, he hit a homer but also had 1 or 2 bizarre errors in LF. The Boston Globe called them typical "Manny Moments".
I'm an idiot I read your post wrong and told my friend that you said .846 came back from being down 3 games to 1 to win. Do'h!
I would not be surprised at all if the Red Sox somehow win Game 6 only to see Dice-K get annihilated in Game 7. Yet, if they can somehow get to Game 7, Dice-K might pitch the game of his life. It is like he is either very good or very bad - no inbetween.
I had absolutely ZERO doubt that the Red Sox would come from behind in the series. They can't exist without drama...and I am loving every minute of it
If the Indians don't comeback here, their 3B coach is going to get CRUCIFIED tommorow for not sending home Lofton. And while Kenny was doing the "right" thing (listening to his coach, who's supposed to have the best vantage point), he should have seen where that ball ended up (play was in front of him), and used his own intuition. Things like baserunning instincts are so rarely looked at... yet play critical/crucial roles in nearly every single game. Its one thing that I appreciated most about Jeff Bagwell... probably the best baserunner the Astros ever had.
I was mildly rooting for the Tribe in the ALCS since they haven't won it all in forever, but it really doesn't matter..... The Rockies are a steamroller right now and will run over the Sox. Rocks in 5 (I'm giving BoSox the game that Beckett pitches)
Well, so much for my ability to prognosticate. I really thought the Tribe had it nailed down. As far as the WS goes....I'm rooting for the Rockies but picking the Red Sox in 6. Yes, the Rockies have been on a roll. They also have had over a week off. That time off will kill their hot streak. Remember what happened to the Tigers last year.
