Aside from the obvious which is PG and a back up C I think we need a young Power Forward with energy Target : Stromile Swift Chris Wilcox Nene ( if martin ends up in Denver) Al Harrington With the free agency crazy this summer Foyle 6 and 41 okur 5 and 50 turkolu 6 and 39 Make me feel we had a bargain with Cato even though I felt he suck offensively and could of been better had he have to work for this money. I do believe the TE will give us some options. Rockets management i believe still have more magic to pull this summer we hope !!!!!
besides a back-up center and a starting PG, we could use a PF/C who can block shots (like swift), and a SF that will hit 3's and play D (like bowen). if we had a team of: yao-center (collier) swift-howard bowen-boki tmac-jj barry-lue we would win the championship next year. the problem is that all the pieces we need are not available right now. we are definitely adding the PG and center this summer. if we are lucky we will be able to add either the SF of the PF/C. since we already have 3 PF's i would say if we were gonna add a 3rd piece this summer it will be a swingman.
ummm... anyone remember a PF/C named Eddie Griffin? hahaha well I think if we can get him for the league minimum and he straightens out his life we will be in good shape. EG can play backup C for us and if he ever develops he would move into the starting PF position someday. I just think he has the height and the shot blocking that would prove a good 1 / 2 punch with Yao. J
Nene would be a fantasy. I hope they get martin then!!!! Eddie Griffin: im not having too high of a hope of him coming back. As much as i want him to come back, i just can't see how it's going to happen now
