we need deke and battier. i'm not worried about the offense. in time that will come with the new additions. but to give up over a 100 when we're shooting bad isn't gonna cut it. you could see how we could have used deke. also, battier would have helped guarding allen.
not having deke costed us the game possibly. I can't help but look back to the end of 1st and beginning of 2nd quarter when yao was out and we got the beatdown smacked into us...

I was thinking this most of the game. We really miss Shane. Not so much on offense, but he plays amazing team and transition D and is always taking charges in the lane. Les also needs to stop being cheap and sign Deke. We need a tall player that can rebound and block shots
Defense Defense Defense. We missed them both and I agree with what was mentioned, the offense will come with time once they play more and more together, but not having size in the paint cost hurt us severely.
Is that the reason we haven't signed him yet? I thought we were just going to wait for the 2nd half so he's fresh. Of course I wouldn't mind signing right now. Not just because he'd be useful for last night's game, but he's good for chemistry. Plus you can't have enough of Mutombo.
