maybe. But then again, latin americans are part white, so it's not a big stretch. Let me rephrase then: I'm sure Africa and Asia would disagree.
i've seen hotter on campus... so how long before JAG tells us he's banged her or 3814 tells us he's stalking her? and as far as white people winning, didn't someone from india (or that area) win it recently?
Here are the winners since 1990: Miss Universe 1990 - Mona Grudt, Norway Miss Universe 1991 - Lupita Jones, Mexico Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean, Namibia Miss Universe 1993 - Dayanara Torres, Puerto Rico Miss Universe 1994 - Sushmita Sen, India Miss Universe 1995 - Chelsi Smith, USA Miss Universe 1996 - Alicia Machado, Venezuela Miss Universe 1997 - Brook Lee, USA Miss Universe 1998 - Wendy Fitzwilliam, Trinidad & Tobago Miss Universe 1999 - Mpule Kwelagobe, Botswana Miss Universe 2000 - Lara Dutta, India Miss Universe 2001 - Denise M. Quiñones, Puerto Rico Miss Universe 2002 - Oksana Fyodorova, Russia Miss Universe 2002 - Justine Pasek, Panama Miss Universe 2003 - Amelia Vega Polanco, Dominican Republic Miss Universe 2004 - Jennifer Hawkins, Australia Seems relatively balanced?
Me too. I got a thing for little red Xs. The beauty pageant winners are never all that hot. Not to say they aren't beautiful or that I wouldn't hit that (within the confines of our marriage sacrament ), but they're always made up in a way that makes them look rather unappealing. To me, anyway.
90-95% are most definitely not stereotypically white. Europeans and Americans are not dominating the winners list: http://www.pageantcenter.com/missuniverse.html Even if you go with dark-skinned vs light skinned argument, in the past decade there have been winners from India, Botswana, the Dominican Republic (which is an overwhelmingly dark skinned country), and Trinadad and Tobago (another dark skinned country). So that argument doesn't really hold water. (You're probably thinking about Miss America where white ladies do tend to dominate with a few African Americans tossed in here and there.) East Asians are in a monster drought however. One winner (from Thailand) in practically four decades.
the Miss World contest seems balanced too: Miss World 1990 - Gina Marie Tolleson, USA Miss World 1991 - Ninebeth Jiminez, Venezuela Miss World 1992 - Julia Kourotchkina, Russia Miss World 1993 - Lisa Hanna, Jamaica Miss World 1994 - Aishwariya Rai, India Miss World 1995 - Jacqueline Aquilera, Venezuela Miss World 1996 - Irene Skliva ,Greece Miss World 1997 - Diana Hayden, India Miss World 1998 - Linor Abargil, Israel Miss World 1999 - Yukta Mookhey, India Miss World 2000 - Priyanka Chopra, India Miss World 2001 - Ibiagbanidokibubo Asenite Darego—Nigeria Miss World 2002 - Azra Akin—Turkey Miss World 2003 - Rosanna Davidson, Ireland Miss World 2004 - Maria Julia Mantilla Garcia, Peru
FAKE. Next time we will get an All Naturale one. The pageant sponsors don't want a SILICON queen. EDIT: I love it when WEB DUDES forget to change the <TITLE> on their templates: http://www.missuniverse.com/missuniverse/index.html <- 2004???

Come on. Just face it that Latin women have shot down your theory. You originally said that "stereotypically white" women with blue eyes were dominating the competition. How many women from South and Central America are stereotypically white with blue eyes.
