When will the NBA start a minor league system?

I'm tired of hearing about early entry canidates not being developed. Its time for a minor league to be started. It will help NBA teams improve the talent level in the NBA, try new schemes, rehab players, facilitate trades, and make money.

Teams will have players ready to contibute when called up because they know the system and coaches. Players will play against better competetion as all the second tier players are in one league and the occasional NBA player will rehab against them. Players would come to the NBA with NBA bodies.

Make it international. This would be a good PR move, plus it would give scouts more looks at international talent. The asian road trip may be a little rough, but adversity will weed out suspect talent.

I want to see Langhi get some PT. The rockets only have room for 1 rookie, but have 3 picks....one is gone, but that will still leave two players and one chair. I want Hakeem to get rehab in games that don't count. And most importantly...a place to put cato.

    Go Austin Pickpockets!!!
    Leave college for students
