ming's summer training

    should be swimming and playing soccer. That will help him alot.

    I tell ya, I don't kno how many times I've seen a 7'5" guy and said, "you know, he should be playing SOCCER!"

    Yao will not be able to have any Summer training for atleast a couple of years since he is obligated to go back to China or some other international event right after the Rockets season ends for atleat till 2008.

    Can we get some confirmation on exactly what commitments he does have to fulfill to china ?

    Well I can't say for sure but there are no FIBA events scheduled until 2004...I think. Those are the ones that are part of the agreement made between the CBA and the Rockets.

    I could be wrong.....

    Yao should be available for training camp and most likely any offseason workouts at least until then.

    Could somebody confirm this??

    Swimming is a very good idea. Soccer on the other hand, can cause VERY serious injuries for someone who's 7'5.

    i'd recommend a serious diet of jumpropes and creatine.
