Read on sina.com that they hardly talk to each other on and off the court, and there may be some jealous going on. Hope it's not true. Ming is a team ball player. If the report is true, I hope steve can get over it quickly.
Well last night when Steve was hitting all those shots in the 3rd quarter, Yao was on the bench going crazy. I think Francis might be a little upset that Yao is so popular here in Houston and and that the media is talking all about Yao. But I also think Francis wants to win and is glad that the big fella plays on his team. Lets not start RUMERS!
Sina updated their website, it was on their site two days ago. I will post the link when I find the old article.
Here is the link. Maybe someone can translate it. http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2002-11-28/1100357185.shtml
I don't totally dismiss this article in sina.com about Ming and Fransis, but I don't think it is an issue - yes, Francis is (maybe) a little jelous but once he realizes he needs a big man's help to win a ring, he will be OK. An example is Kobe and Shak, and another opposite example is T-Mac. Francis is smart, and Ming is smarter, they will get along with each other well on court, if not off-court too (which who cares).
Thanks for posting a link rocketjf. We usually try to post links when we read something or quote something online. Welcome.
I know on the day before their long road trip they were still joking around during practice and everything seemed fine.
If Yao gets voted on the All-Star team (which he shouldn't), then Francis will be p*ssed off, and rightly so.
That article is a bunch of BS. Everytime Yao scores Steve gets pumped and gives him high fives, and when Francis scores Yao gets excited. Sina is awesome.
