Grew up on 2% but drink skim since I was in high school. Can't remember the last time I had regular milk.

    I drink skim.

When I was a kid we had 2% at the house, and always drank Strawberry/Chocolate at school. We had a taste test one day at school and we tried whole, 2%, 1%, and skim. 2% was just plain awful. Whole and skim were delicious. From that day on I started drinking skim. Skim is my favorite kind now. If I drink anything higher, I have to have chocolate or strawberry to add to it.

On the topic of milk, I also want to say that Shamrock farms chocolate milk, which is available in Arizona and at Subways nationwide, is the BEST chocolate milk in the world. If you are a fan of chocolate milk, you should really give it a try.

Whole milk or no milk. Regular coke or no coke. Regular cigarettes or no cigarettes.

I generally don't like light versions of anything. Some beers are an exception. I still prefer regular beer though.

Does Lance Berkman agree? If so, it must be good.

whole, i do not know how anyone can stand drinking skim milk... the thing looks like diluted elmer's glue

is there really a big difference drinking 2% as opposed to whole? i used to hate milk, but now i drink a glass of whole milk before sleep everynight

2% most likely for me... though I drink this other milk also from time to time. It's an HEB Brand of Chocolate Milk that usually nobody ever buys (there are always a bunch of them left and always expired on the rack) but I can't figure out if its 2% or if its Whole milk. I'd hate to find out it's Whole milk... though yeah mostly I always drink 2%. Occasionally, I may drink 1%.

There isn't really any big difference in drinking 2% over whole. As I stated previously, whole milk is usually around 3% fat anyway. You save about 30 calories which is good but you save 70 drinking skim.

I grew up on whole milk.
When I moved out my parents crib for college I switched to 2 percent.
Now when I drink whole milk, it hurts my stomach.

My kids get 2% minimum as they are still growing, but i pepper in some whole every now and then...for me, skin, and maybe 1% every now and again...

I get the organic sometimes, especially when I'm travelling as that stuff lasts forever...

    this.

my parents still have whole milk in the fridge for their coffee, but they buy 2% for everything else and I started doing the same when I go shopping.

soy milk, sometimes almond milk and when I can't get my hands on either of those lactose free cow's milk. I don't drink much of any of those but sometimes I have to mix my protein with something other than water or fruit juice.

to go from whole to skim in one lifetime is pretty rare i think. but good for you! i grew up on skim, my husband was 2% so when we got married, we settled on 1%. as others said, that wasn't an option.

I drink the lactose free milk.

I drink lactose milk with my protein shake which still get me gassy which is okay. I can't drink whole milk anymore, its just too much, my stomach rumbling and getting relly bubbly, sometimes it'll just screw my stomach up.. lol

I used to drink a glass of 2% every night before I went to sleep when I was a kid.

Now I buy chocolate milk to get myself to start drinking it again.

I'm lactose intolerant. I have no patience for lactose and I won't stand for it (except in small doses)...

Organic whole milk or bust for me.

I can't stand the watered down stuff, and the cheap hormone-packed non-organic stuff just tastes like crap. I don't know why people buy it. It lasts for like 5 days and then gets spoiled. Organic milk can last for a month or two and not go bad.
