I missed my 1000th post and I didn't even know what I posted. I'd feel like crying, but I really don't care. Here's to post counts, may they be as inconsequential in your life as mine. Cheers! Gotta love this site!
And I thought this was going to be about odometers... When my rig went to 93,000 miles, it rolled over the 1 so it looked like I had 193,000 miles. Took it to a mechanic who said it would cost $400 bucks to fix. Called the maker and from what they said I didn't have enough documentation to prove it. Pure BS. Decided to wait until it really went over 100,000 and see if the 1 would stay there. It didn't and the odometer now read 200,000 plus miles. Decided to drive it a bit longer but then a guy hit me and totalled the rig... his fault all the way. (I was shaken up but OK for the long term.) Thankfully, I had an extremely cool insurance company that took my word on the mileage and paid me for a car with 103.000 miles. Good to be rid of that hassle.
