Grossly overachieves expectations his first 2 seasons, has us on pace for almost 60 wins this season. Somehow still has a significant portion of the fanbase convinced he's an idiot and terrible coach. Just so f**king stupid.

Maybe in the long run we will find out that he does have shortcomings when it comes to winning a title, but so far Udoka's tenure has been nothing but an absolute resounding success. When he took over, if anybody said this team would have legit title aspirations going into his 3rd season you would have been mocked relentlessly.

Here's a list of every Rockets coach since Rudy T that the fan base thought had solid in-game adjustments:

    .
    .
    .
    (maybe Rick Adelman)

Was that meant to make your point haha.

What happened to all those coaches?

Seems like it did the opposite

The point is that fans here on CF have that same complaint against every coach. And it gets voiced with Every. Single. Loss.

Also if our offense is great, they want to fire the coach in favor of someone more defensive-minded. And vice-versa, of course.

Not the same team defensively as last year. That’s obvious. It’s personnel and perhaps scheme mixed in.

Ime needs some serious help next to him. He can't do the adjustments needed for serious games.

    Why?

Because it took him EIGHT years to win a ring in Denver?

Or is Because he didn't have a winning season as a head coach until his FIFTH season?

Ime has never had a losing record as a heach coach and has been to the finals already. It took Malone 10 seasons to get to the finals.

Malone is a good coach, but he's more Adleman than Larry Brown or Philip (as Rome calls him).

He needs to be fired ASAP!!! Just kidding of course….Udoka may be the best coach in the NBA. The West is stacked and we will lose games this year and so will everyone else not named OKC. We need to acquire a point guard as this team is just a bunch of forwards. DFS and his 7 ppg career average and many years of 30% threes brings absolutely nothing more than Okogie….same player, stupid OVERRATED 13mm acquisition. Never feared him on the Mavs and always thought he was the weak link in their lineup (offensively challenged). We need a Malik Monk type who can light it up. CJ McCollum would be a nice add at point guard if we’re serious about beating OKC.

I can say the same thing about a coach that is too stubborn for his own good, and people on here defending him like he is their messiah.
