Oh you know, bring up numbers like blocked shots for example? How many blocked shots does Juwan have this year? During his career? Remember now, he is playing at the power Forward position.

How about stopping people from going to the rim once they beat him or beat one of his teammates by fouling hard. Since he is incapable of getting a block, perhaps he could try that ala Oakley style? He has on numerous occassions just stood there with his feet planted to the ground while opponents have gone to the rim. Several people have commented on this.

How about playing his man defensively by being PHYSICAL ala Reggie Evans style since he cant do any of those 2 above? (*laugh* I said Juwan and physical in the same sentence). Opposing forwards eyes lit up when they see Juwan guarding them.

How about finishing strong for a change? Keep count of how many times he has missed layups, point blank shots. Last game alone, he missed 4 layups. Why does he do it? He is so scared of getting blocked, he just flings it towards the basket when he gets close. He does get blocked a lot and he does throw up trash from close to the rim. Most of his post up moves lead to garbage too. MOST of his points come from OPEN jumpers, when no one is close to him. Since you have games recorded, perhaps you can keep a track of all this. I was doing it for couple of games, and the results were just laughable.

OR, since he cant do ANY of those above, how about putting some extra effort on rebounding, especially on defensive end? For a power forward he gives up waay too many rebounds. There is a reason why the +/- numbers are so terrible when he is in with Yao. Both are slow footed and fail to secure a lot of rebounds.

I have made several optimistic comments on players. Check the game thread sometimes. I even made a nice comment on Juwan since he was giving effort 2 games ago. Too bad, he doesnt give me too many chances to do so.

As for your counter arguments, I hardly see them. Take this thread for example. In 2 posts I made several arguments. But all I see from you is statment like...you dont make points, you bla bla, hitting tennis balls....

Once again, I ask you to compare per min rebounding numbers of Hayes vs Juwan. You keep hiding from it.

If I am guilty of hating on Juwan (for good reasons I might add), you are just as guilty of loving him. I dont hate on him as a person. Hell he could be taking care of 50 Mother Teresas for all I know. But it is not gonna make him a good PF. His game is not suited for PF position. He plays like a shooting guard in a PF body. As for Stro, he is terrible in his own ways. I have never defended Stro for his dead brain cell.s Hayes would be a better comparision. Difference though is that, while Juwan will never improve given minutes, Hayes, and MAYBE Stro, might improve since they are young.

He is a BIG problem. Our PF spot is just as big as our guard problem. In short we have LOTS of problems. The only thing we are set at is C and SF.

Well, you will have to ask yourself first, what is your team goal? If the goal is to make the playoffs then yeah, Juwan/Stro/hayes tandem will get you to playoffs with a guard upgrade. But NOT if your goal is to win a championship.

Just answer this. Do you see Rockets winning a championship with Juwan as the starting PF?

Holy ****! I said Juwan and championship in the same sentence. O Lord!..please forgive me..for I have sinned...I reek of blasphemy ...I am guilty of uttering garbage going against the natural laws of basketball.

    Do Juwan tivo.

    Do Juwan graph analysis.

    Do Juwan NBA history.

    Do Juwan stats.

    Do Juwan Win/loss history.

    Do the Dew.

    In the end,

    Juwan will DO you.

    One final Correction.

I wont be having that conversation with you because you hardly ever make any valid points and have any numbers to backup your theories. Just typical Juwan love fest.

Actually no wait!! I take that back. I will be that persistent Christian preacher here. You can keep being lost, but I will keep trying to show you the way.

God loves you. God does not love Juwan's game. Come to the right path. Dont go astray with Juwan on the path which leads to lottery.

Good luck winning a championship with Juwan. *laugh* :p
