I know i hate starting another thread about a potential offseason pick-up...but does anyone know where Mike Harris is?? With the rockets looking to rebuild I think he would fit perfect with our rebuilding team. And he is from rice. I remember he played pretty well 2 seasons ago in the regular season.

Any Thoughts?? is gonna be on the summer league team

He is not quick enough to defend SF and not big enough to defend PF.

    Yeah sure, get him, whatever.

Tough times are back when we are talking about getting Harris back....and that really is no disrespect to Mike.

He is playing overseas last time I checked. I doubt if he comes back to Houston.

I don't think he's eligible to play in summer league is he? Is there a restriction on NBA playing time to be on a summer league roster?

Old irrelevant subject, but for that and for anyone else wondering, I dont think there's a restriction. Only for D-League I think. Artest's weird self went to summer league 3 years ago. Amare played in the SL for rehab after his microfracture surgery around the same time.

I like Mike Harris and his play, but this team is already loaded with players who can do that. James White, in fact, pretty much is just a more athletic Harris with a better jumper.

Mike Harris is not on the bench in the NBA for a reason. As great as his attitude and work ethics are, none of his strengths are strong enough to compensate enough for his weaknesses that NBA teams actually want him.
