Yes, I would agree with that. It's a pity he couldn't run for a third term and cut George Junior off at the knees. Sure would have saved the nation a lot of trouble, to put it mildly.

The years have been very kind to Bill Clinton's image because he left us in very good economic shape (including a surplus). He was also succeeded by the biggest catastrophic disaster of a president we've had in my adult life who's problems have avalanched our current president. The dire economic straights we are in add to the romanticized memory. Combining all of that with his natural campaigning skills makes him a good closing weapon for Dems this year.
Early voting for the win!!! No problems at all in Humble, smooth process mass turnout today. No intimidation at all from pollsters the houston news were reporting. People get out and vote!!! Regardless of your party.
True the years have benefited Clinton but even if he did nothing but that still doesn't mean the man has some mad skills. He was only the second president to be impeached yet still came out with relatively favorable polls and his party picked up seats in the midterm of his second term. In most political senses he should've been dead in 1994 yet he comes back to trounce Dole in 1996, survive impeachment and leave relatively popular.
What's really funny is this nice gentleman doesn't realize he would be one of the first to die in this tea party scenario. Just sayin’
The funny thing is that his opponent sorta deserves to lose - she's ethically challenged. She probably wouldn't regardless, being in a solid Dem district - but is this really the best the GOP could find to run against her?
Why is Basso advocating we adopt Chinese principles of socialism? I understand that they have a lot of our debt, but I don't think we should duplicate that kind of thinking to reverse the trend. In stead, I think supporting our capitalist principles are the way to go. This is surprising even for Basso to advocate the economic policies of China for the U.S.
I worked so hard... <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/16072732" width="601" height="338" frameborder="0"></iframe><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/16072732">Call Me Senator</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user3849600">RightChange</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p> that's what she said!
haha thanks that was pretty funny.. Boxer= biggest b*tch in politics..(well her and Pelosi) my friends who are devout Democrats also agree but yet they will still probably end up voting for her. Not a fan of Fiorina but anything is better than Boxer. Boxer definitely = a eliitist politician who is so full of herself and thinks she is so much better and smarter than everyone else..
I just did. Really, really stupid. I hesitate to point one thing out because it's all so bad, but the idea of a teacher in Communist China pointing out that America failed in part because of government takeovers of private industries is hilarious. And what is it with you wingers and fantasies of American failure? Here's another example to go on top of the longing for radical, militant terrorists to conquer America and put it under Sharia Law so you could see the Liberals get what they deserved. Unbelievable.
i agree about Fiorina, and Whitman, for that matter, but the alternatives are much worse. i have a ton of friends in california in tech, and neither is looked on that favorably- but brown/boxer are just pathetic.
