Michael Savage what? He knows exactly what kind of constituency he's got on the radio, and what he must and must not do in order to keep his ratings up. He just explained it outright. If you want to succeed in that business, you cannot toe the line. You've gotta bring it and bring it hard from whatever side of the fence you are on. Whether that 's Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck on one side or Michael Moore or Bill Maher on the other, you know exactly what they care about, and that is 1. Themselves 2. Themselves 3. Themselves. The truth has to settle for priority #999.

There's a reason most of his show is dedicated to bashing homosexuals. Michael "Savage" Weiner used to endorse pederasty while penning love letters to Beat poet Allen Ginsberg. Unfortunately for Weiner, Ginsberg had a habit of keeping of his correspondence, even letters from far-flung sycophants; and, as a renowned writer, scholars have a habit of poring over this correspondence. Michael "Savage" Weiner's endorsement isn't worth much. Sample:
