Let's be honest, these guys know they will make the playoffs. They also understand they arn't going to reach any regular season winning records. The reason they got together is so they have an easier time. I am 100% sure that these guys will take it to another level when the playoffs start.

Quote me now and don't use it against me later but I'd bet on Dallas beating LA if they meet up in the playoffs.

Agree, they are without Haslem and Miller right now, plus will pick up maybe 2 players from Waivers. They have lost to the Bulls both times by a couple of points, and Celtics by a small margin. Noting to be worried about, as playoffs it's over seven games.

After reading the thread title I thought the OP was going to put...

...lineup and kick Bosh in the nuts one at a time.

How the hell can someone who considered himself 'elite' have that bad of a game? The dude is a fake star...I'm sure the whole Miami Heat organization is shaking its head in disgust after that game and thinking "We signed HIM to a max deal?"...LOL.

Ironic how the teams with no size are arguably the two best defensive teams

Miami need to.......never lose a game. Ever. Because they're only tied for tops in the East, playing .725 ball. And they haven't even won a championship after being together for half a season. Losers.

It's like, after any poor game, the prognosticators reassure themselves about all the Heat's weaknesses. Revisit it in a few years.

True...didn't Wilt say, no one likes to root for Goliath, or something like that. I think this and other boards show that a lot of people certainly like to root against him.

On the bench or off the bench

Those three are the only ones that score points on that team..

they have not played the spurs

all the games they have lots to elite teams were 1-2 possessions that decided it.

they just need to keep working on their halfcourt offense. they have another 25 games to fine tune it and the first round of the playoffs.

mike miller has these games to get into shape.

PS - reg. season does mean a lot, but it doesn't always indicate much for the playoffs. miami lost 0-2 to the mavs when they won their championship.

the lakerse lost series to boston 0-2 when they beat them in 08 to win their championship.

and your suggestion is terrible. if you were a coach, you would be like one who panics after every loss.

Their offense stinks. Wade and LeBron basically take turns ISO-ing, driving towards the baseline while the defense collapses and kicking out to Bosh for an elbow jumper or 20-footer. If they don't use the kickout pass they simply keep it themselves and shoot a baseline fadeaway.

It's too predictable. You can't get away with this type of stuff in the playoffs whenever you're trading baskets with somebody yet here you are: taking low percentage shots every trip down to the basket or settling for 20-footers.

If you minimize the minutes Wade and LeBron share, they can do that continuously for 48 minutes. And most teams do not have enough depth at wing defenders.

The reduced minutes though, is a big blow to their ego. And no coach dare to do that.

I'm not suggesting they reduce Wade or LeBron's minutes. I just think they need to limit the ISO'ing and low percentage shots and focus on a more traditional inside-outside game.
