Tonight's game is their first match-up since waaaay back in high-school. I am asking people to predict how tonight's match-up of the two highly anticipated rooks will go.
What would have interested me in this game is how they would have played DeJuan Wagner. Where does he fit in the Cav's plans? Would he be worth the Rocks acquiring him and, if so, for whom? He is supposed to a world class scorer but he has been injured his whole pro career (all year and three games of it).
Thumbs, Wagner's great when he does play for us (which is very rare), but the risk of injury is too much. If the Rockets could find some way to trade someone like Moochie for him, then I would say yes, but otherwise Wagner's not worth it right now.
The thing is that I'm not sure if the poll was who's shown better game so far, who has better game potential if they play up to it, or what. I think so far Lebron has had better game. Who do I think the better player is? Carmello.
I wonder if it's something in the water. He never had any injury problems before. His star has never risen, and, even so, would have been eclipsed by LaBron. The La and Ja pairing seems awesome if Wagner could get healthy.
Not impressed with Lebron's game thus far. To be a good shooter you have to have a foundation. This guy seems shaky everytime he takes a shot beyond 15 ft. This guy needs to go back to the gym and take 10,000 jump shots with a defender in his face. I'll wait till the second half of the season before chipping away at the hype machine again.
Yeah, I started to watch this game and it reminded why bad teams usually don't play on national TV. I switched over to Kings-TWolves which went into OT. Great game but I'm a bit skeptical of the TWolves when Mark Madsen plays the entire OT period. Now, he did play well but how disappointing is the Kandi-Man right now!?
There was no defense in the Cavs game, I tuned into the gave whenever there was a timeout in the TCU Louisville game.
Hell, I'm thrilled with last night's game. That was great. We're 3-2. We've beaten the defending champs and one of the top three teams in the NBA the last few seasons. We played like crap against you guys, but even if we had our A game, I'm not sure we pull that one off (you guys were sky high for that game, and really played well), but if we remove our heads from our posteriors against the Pacers, we're 4-1. Oh, and Earl Boykins is the MAN!
Why doesn't Paul Silas run Lebron at the point. He might as well let the kid take his bumps, that team, as much talent as it has, won't be making the playoffs anyway.
Ya'll alot better than I thought you would be but I always knew Melo was the Man. The kid has won at every level, and that winning killer attitude is hard to learn. Jordan had it, Bird had it, Magic had it, Dream had it and Melo has it. You also have a pretty good coach. I expect you to be around .500 and missing out on the playoffs by about 5 games.
That would rock. Expectations are low, if the team can do something like that, with the Broncos and Rockies struggling, they'll take off in this city. They already have a HUGE buzz around them right now. Thank God we got the third pick.
this is just like last season when every wizards game was on espn and tnt... i'd rather see good Teams play.
