McNair has spent the last three months recuperating from surgery that grafted bone from his right hip to his sternum.

I don't know if McNair is going to retire or not, but if he does, I'll be a little sad. I remember when we drafted him and he was such a competitor out of Alcorn St. Even though we were lame duck, I still followed him. Once they moved, I've always respected his competitiveness and ability to play while he was hurt. He is one tough Mofo and I respect him for it and I'm sad that his career has been so short.

I hope not. I love McNair but he is too broken-down to receive a $50 Million bonus.

If he is physically at a point where he gave serious consideration to retirement, then he is still very physically vulnerable and might be more valuable as a clubhouse guy and a super backup QB.

He's probably too competitive to go for that at this point though.

Would you Titans fans that live in Houston pull for your Xwife if she left you for one of your friends after a 30 year relationship?

No way in hell I would. I'd be praying every day that stupid b**** was never happy or successful.

Rot in Hell Titans. (not the actual players just the team as a entity)

There are some (many) of us here who don't live in Houston. I haven't lived there since 1974. I was sorry to see the Oilers leave Houston, but I understood that it happens.

Would I be rooting for the Rockets had they moved to Louisville? You bet.

Geez, I finally realized that giddy's title meant he was "returning" instead of "retiring".

No, I'd probably build her the house she wanted so she'd never leave, instead of waiting a few more years and building a much more expensive house for some chick I had no history with.

But why would you want a girl who only loved you for the house you could build her? Especially when five years before saying the house was too old, she forced you to remodel the house, removing a part of the house that everyone in the neighborhood loved?

We bought the house for the girl who loved us for who we were, not because of what we could build her.

My philosophy on this analogy is that "the girl's parents, or father," is an a-hole (aka Bud Adams), but that's not gonna force me to not love her or break up with her. I never went to games when they were in Houston, so it doesn't matter that much that they are in Tenn. now, other than the coverage isn't as great. And I live near Austin anyway, so it's no big deal. All in all, they are still my favorite team, though that may diminish some as they acquire newer and newer players with no Houston ties.

If given the choice, I would much rather have the young hot wife with a bright future that occupies my new expensive house than the old broken down hag with no future that left me.

It's love for the fans but business for the owners.

Actually giddy meant for it to be imprecise so you wouldn't know what the news was until you checked out the story.
