Correct he is 8 years older.
Correct that this was the first time his back was an issue.

But it still ruined the best season that franchise has had.

It did ruin any chances of them making it to the Finals.

that is all I am saying..

I also am not saying that The Rockets should not get him. Hell...they cant get him soon enough for me. I can't wait for something to get done on this. the pacers are still waiting to see what happen with our talks with Orlando. I just think it is something to be concerned about.

I think Orlando made a big mistake in not taking Okafor even though HE is young and has had a history of back problems. Okafor is a impact player and will make a contribution in the first year. I dont think his back history should have scared off the Magic but it may have...

T-Mac coming to Houston will wake this city up like the day Clyde made it in to town from Portland.

Dont get me wrong.. I am not stupid. I think McGrady is one of the top 5 players in the NBA. probably arguably better than KOBE because he has carried a nobody team to the playoffs.

McGrady better than KOBE: younger, taller, carried a scrub team, and plays taller than he is: http://espn.go.com/nba/columns/may_peter/1467459.html

I started having back spasms at age 16. I am 28 now and still play soccer 3-4 days a week on the rock hard Austin fields. It is just a thing that some people have to deal with. They pop up for me ever so often. Some days they can be excruciating and debilitating. They, however, can be easily controlled with proper exercise (which I'm sure T-Mac gets plenty of) and meds if necessary. I don't think it will be an issue. He might miss a game here and there. However, I think that the only reason he missed so many last year was because of the horrid Magic team. What was the point of going out there when you are mathematically eliminated by Feb?

I can deal with that. I just wish we could get him here and extended as quick as possible.

    From the mouth of T-Mac:

"It was so bad, I almost didn't play the first game. I came down after scoring and experienced more pain than I've ever had," he said. "All I could think about was [former Knicks forward] Larry Johnson, how he retired early with a bad back."

    With that said......

I still cant wait until he arrives!!:p
