I dig it. I didn't like it the first go around, but tried it again in another location, and thought it was better. It's not for everyone, but I like the tangy flavor of lemonade.
Put me in the "likes" camp also. Course I love anything with lemon/lemon flavoring. Do people dislike it because it's not as sweet as they hoped?
We made a critical discovery the other day - they were out of strawberry syrup when we tried it the second time. If you like tart things, it's way way waaaayyyy better without the syrup. Frozen lemonade rankings: 1. Icy Italian Lemonade from that Italian pizza place on Westheimer east of Montrose. 2a. Lemon fresh fruit slush from Sonic with extra lemon 2b. McDonald's frozen lemonade, no strawberry syrup.
Sad but not surprising. When the best thing your restaurant has to offer is oatmeal (which I would think you could make just as easily from a pouch and hot water) and everything else is just gross... Most of their other specialty drinks taste like sugar water. I hear the same thing about the "smoothies". (probably may as well get a strawberry shake) I don't know why this chain is so popular. People have no taste. Just about any other fast food option is better. The Taco Bell Fruitista Freezes, on the other hand, are really good.
Now that is the most disgusting drink I've ever had. I had one recently. it was the first time I'd purchased anything from Taco Bell in over 15 years. There is no more vile food on the planet than this "mexican" chain based in Lexington, KY.
I can accept its cheap food for what it is, but you are right that it has nothing to do with Mexican. I miss Taco Cabana sooo much... must move back to Texas...
i'm glad i saw this thread before i drove up my blood sugar level. is shouldn't even be glancing at that crap but the commercial was pretty tempting. hilarious, i thought it was only kids mickey d's marketing had a lock on.
