mcdonald's all americans

ousmane cisse, deshawn stevensen, omar cook, dermarr johnson, erick barkley, gerald wallace... anyone know what's up w/ them?

i know they were drafted, but i never heard much about them... just wondering if anyone knew what happened to them, especially gerald wallace. did he get any pt at all for the kings? hs player of the year over eddie griffin two yrs ago, 49 inch vert, you'd think he'd be a boxer. granted kobe didn't make calls his first year, but i'm just curious about what's happening w/ them. i heard zach randolph being termed a "token four" in the alleged deal to move up and get stoudamire. but i mean you look at garnett, jordan, kobe, shaq, webber, almost any star and they were a hs all american... so what's up w/ these kids? al harrington and jonathon bender too, i see harrington play some, but he's not dominating or anything. or am i just being impatient and these guys are all gonna be killers? gerald wallace though... lol all this talk about athletic potential in nene and all the others, nbadraft.net ( http://nbadraft.net/profiles/geraldwallace.htm ) has his athleticism as an 11, on a 10 point scale... does anyone know if he did any of those physical fitness tests, and if so, how he fared? sorry if this is random, just was thinking about where your nba stars come from, and i thought hs all americans, but there seem to be a lot of em that aren't making any noise. got me thinking about stoudemire and lenny cooke. lenny cooke was abcd high scorer last season his jr year, now ppl are saying he might not even get drafted? that just blows my mind, if he went to two / three years of college, he'd be a mauler. dunleavy, wagner, butler, all these kids are, what's gonna happen to cooke then? also, do you think going straight to the nba hurts them if they aren't man-children a la kobe / lebron / kg, or will it just take even longer than the two or three years it took them. enough rambling though, byeeee.
