He starts most of the games at pg and only gets 3.7? He has one of the best shooters in the NBA on his team and he only gets freaking 3.7 assists? People who make their teammates better do so because they get double teamed. Tony Parker gets double teamed, Devin Harris Doesnt. Tony Parker avgs 20 points per night, Devin Harris 10. I dont think Devin Harris has done anything to warrant the contract he got which is higher btw than the one Mo Williams (a real point guard) got this summer. That's rediculous. He's an average player who is overhyped by the media. We have our own version of devin harris on our team but he's gonna turn out better because he can actually shoot the ball and doesnt score all his points within 3 feet of the basket. Take that garbage out of this bbs.
Devin is a solid playmaker, the only guy in the nba as quick or quicker than TP, and despite being listed as 6'3, dude is no taller than 6'1 yet can dunk with the best of them. The only negative part of his game is he has no 'J'. I say once he develops it he will be unquestionably the mavs starting pg but mavs fans have been saying the same thing for 3yrs and his shot still hasnt developed. no need to hate on him.
So Harris is worth $8-9 million a year, but Nash (that guy that would go on to win a couple MVP trophies) wasn't worth 12?
This contract will bite the Mavericks. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Kevin Martin was steal for the Kings compared to this deal. If Devin Harris is a high character guy he will have his best year this upcoming season.
calvin murphy was ripping devin on his radio show today, but he blamed it on haterism. he said that boy has no business making that kind of money with the little production he gives to the mavs.
