Did he ever own it or was he a part owner? I heard this from someone dating Dean Cooper, one of the Rockets assistant coaches. Maybe she was misinformed. Shady, I know the guy you're talking about. He and Matt came to Bronx Bar in a limo together the night I saw him.
Yea that's probably him. Kinda a funny story is the reason I know all this is that Maloney's friend hooked up with one of my good friends from high school. I'm really bitter toward this prick because I put in years of work to get her and he swoops in and takes her from me. One day she is showing me pictures of a vacation they took and it's them two with another couple. I look at the other couple and it's freaking Matt Maloney and some other hot chick. I say, "Holy **** is that Matt Maloney?" She say's back to me,"Oh, how do you know Matt?" b****! I go on to tell her how he is an awful basketball player and is a closet homosexual. I don't really talk to her anymore.
He goes by PJ... I can't pronounce his name, and he definetly owns Slainte. The only reason I know is because he is an architect.
Slainte is closed. He doesn't own it anymore. A group of interrelated Iranians owned Bronx-Slainte-R&R-Live Sports. Slainte they either sold at a loss or flat out lost. R&R is beyond ghetto now. Live is overpriced & for a "sports cafe" has the crappiest TV (lack of) setup of any sports bar in town - not to mention that you pay for Prague-410 priced drinks at a freaking sports bar. Of the lot, the only one that is worth a crap is Bronx Bar. Decent drink prices, good loooking women. The bartenders are borderline r****ded but they look like Treasures whores so we can let that slide...
