Martin and Brooks playing well together, who would have thought... Oh, I know...ME !!! And anyone else that understands the game of basketball. DD
With the way Scola played tonight it makes me think we may not need Bosh..... Rudy Gay anyone??
Heh. Heh. Heh. You got it, buddy. On more than one occasion, Darryl Morey has made his intentions clear, in regards to recreating the Boston Celtics' "big three". Yao Ming Chris Bosh Kevin Martin? vs Kevin Garnett Paul Pierce Ray Allen How great do the Rockets compare?
What was great was the balance in which each player took control of the game, which is the way it should be played. Brooks and martin should get that many shots a game and everything else should be spread out. We know scola isn't going to shoot 20 times every game. Although he should.
read his ENTIRE sentence, he said Martin was 9-20 with 6 minutes remaining, MEANING the game was still in progress.. dam pay attention u got ADD or somethin
I liked what Martin said in the post-game interview, that he didn't feel like he was that effective because of his low-shooting percentage tonight (9/24, 37.5%). It's a great sign that he evaluates his own performance based upon efficiency, not total points. Plus he credited AB and Scola above himself. I love this attitude and mindset of efficiency, I think it's what allows our team to excel beyond what is generally expected.
Don't look at his FG% as a negative in this game. Look at it this way. He was efficient from the line, and he scored a ton of points DESPITE the bad shooting. If he plays the same way and shots 46%, he'll be an offensive beast.... ...defense on the other hand? lol.. oh well We need to surround him with players like Hayes, Hill, Ariza, Battier, AND YAO.
Your ever patented ego-stroking has gotten predictable and become tiresome. Yay you think you know the game of basketball better than everyone else around here. Hip Hip Hooray.
The bolded part suggest irony or satire. Because DD claims to understand basketball, yet has a raging hard-on for two actual basketball players that, ironically, do not understand the game of basketball. You dont average 25ppg without knowing how to score but he is still taking way too many shots. I also dont see the killer instinct I see from Kobe/Lebron/Melo/Dwade, like you know he is going to score at will when ever he wants to. This guy def has to work for his shot...which is something I see holding him back from true superstar status. Otherwise, good game Kevin.
