Yeah, that's nothing, four games closer to the end of the season and still in the playoff lead. While we'd all love it if we won the series, but we should all be happy with a split.
Listening to 790, just heard that the MLB had the coin flips today to determine home field advantage for any one game playoffs. The Astros lost to Florida and Philadelphia. They won against the Nationals. So the one game playoff scenarios would play out like this for the Astros if necessary: Houston at Florida Houston at Philadelphia Washington at Houston
That ball was 2 inches away from the dirt... and Delgado hit it out. That reminded me of Beltran's HR in the NLCS.
Actually, we're essentially 1 game up on them right now... since all that really matters is the loss coumn. IMO... as long as we don't get swept (lose all 4 games)... we still will have a legit shot, since the worst we can be after losing 3 out of 4 is 1 game back in the loss column.
At least this time, it will be somewhat legit. Dontrelle shut us out last year when we had the top-shelf lineup. I'd rather get beat by good pitching like this, than getting beat by the Rick Hellings and Chan Ho Parks of the world.
