now really, I watched the guy, and he can really shoot...

and Nike, please stop giving me all that stats B.S, stats doesn't give u a perfect idea of what's going on. u sound like one of those guys who just look at stats and judge a player. look @ Sura's stats, he is 41% from the field, 32% from the 3pts line, 3.8 assists, 1.9 TOs.. not very attractive huh? but if u watched him in 04-05, u wouldn't say the same thing. u would actually say that without him, we wouldn't have been able to achieve what we did back then.

btw, the Sura example is totally random, I am by no means comparing Sura to Jaric.. just an example to show Mr. Stats that stats are not always right..

Jaric is a good player, might be a little slow, but he has a high BBall IQ and he can shoot the ball well..

please dont say that Head is too much for Jaric.. y'all just look @ Head's "clutch" 3s (which are lucky shots most of the times) and u completely ingnore his 0-8 and 0-9 nights and his stupid TOs... that's not mentioning getting schooled on the defensive end.. Head is freakin overrated. I dont know why y'all love this guy. he is a good shooter, no doubt about it, but he isn't Michael Jordan or Reggie Miller or anything like that. he is an undersized scrub at the 2 who can shoot the ball fairly well sometimes and can suck at other times. he is really athletic but we have only seen one dunk from him in his whole 2 year mini career so he obviously doesn't like to use his athelticism.. stop worshipping Luther and look at what he sucks at rather than what he can do well.. if he can shoot 3 at 50% for the rest of the season and stop doing his r****ded TOs, I would gladly keep him and preside over the "I love Luther Head" club. other than that (if he decides to do his crazy 1 on 3 fastbreaks to get blocked and dribble the ball of his foot) I dont think he is worth that much..

This team does not a trade that will get rid of guys are doing fine. What the Rockets need is a backup center that will spell minutes for Deke. One way may be to have our TE or Sura in package deal to get a center. I like the rest of the team and hopefully Snyder and Wells will make contributions to the team until Yao gets back.

Here's to you, Mr. Preposterous Trade Suggester.
You convulse at every random trade rumor or poor performance of a Rocket player, spewing out ridiculous trade suggestions like there's no tomorrow.
    (We need a point guard...)
Salaries be damned, scouting reports be damned.
    (KG for JHo!)
And who cares what the bargaining agreement rules are?
    (Sign him with the TE!)
The front office had better listen to you, oh lord of armchair GMs, because you can clearly see what they can't.

I guarantee that Min would make this trade in the blink of an eye. Are you sure you arent a wolves fan cuz that is the only way I could imagine you being in favor of a Head for Jaric trade.

Believe me, I watch a lot more ball than you.

Late career Sura is completely different than early career Sura. I don't know why you would use his career numbers. Sura was signed for his toughness and grit, and largely what he showed in a late season stint with the Hawks - multiple triple doubles, iirc.

By noon tomorrow, reality may set in.

Good shooters don't shoot 40% from the field, under 35% from the 3P line, AND around 70% from the FT line on a consistent basis.

Who are you talking about? Replace Head with Alston, maybe. Luther Head is shooting a solid 44% from the field and 45% from the 3 point line. Without double checking, he's in the top 5 in 3 pointers made. He's been a shooter since he was at Illinois and probably before. If you call what he's done this year luck, I have no more business discussing basketball with you.

If Jaric was good, he wouldn't be having this problem. 22 minutes a game is exactly what he should be getting - he's a mediocre backup on a bad contract. This year, The Wolves are -1.7 when Jaric is on the court and +2.2 when's off of it. The Clippers made the playoffs the year after he left there and the Wolves followed up that 04/05 season where they failed "miserably" with 44 wins with a stellar 33 win campaign. I'm not saying Jaric is the reason for these occurrences - I'm just saying he doesn't help teams win.

Sorry, but one of the top 3pt shooters in the league isn't a good shooter?

And I know Rafer hasn't won back the fans just quite yet, but two 20+ pt games means he doin something right, and we are 9 out of our last 10...

i'd rather use our TE to land atkins or stoudamire

    OR

    cut sura and sign stevie.

either way, i think we need that one more piece added to really get us to the same level as the top 3.

I used to fly with the Clippers due to us advertising with them and other things and when he was with them he was public enemy #1 in the locker room. Maybe it was because he just didn't fit in or what not but most of the guys didn't like him. They called him "Hollywood" because he cared more about how he looked than how he played. Maybe he matured and is different, but I would say no thanks just for that reason alone. Not to mention the fact that Eric Piatowski would school him in practice, thats like RyBo consistently making Tmac his Biatch in practices.

This is without a doubt the dumbest post I have ever seen. By trading Head we would be getting a good shooter? HAHA.

In Jaric's 3 seasons with the Clippers, they finished with a record of 27-54, 28-54, and 37-45. Last season, Jaric played 75 games with Minnesota, which finished with its worst record in years (33-49). Jaric played 20+ min in his rookie season and 30+ min in his 2nd & 3rd seasons with the Clippers. In 2006, he averaged 28 min with the T'wolves. Jaric is a career 40% shooter (33% 3pt FG) and has averaged 8.3 points and 4.3 assists per game.

I'll pass on someone who hasn't shown marked improvement over time, isn't known as a lock-down defender, and has yet to play on a team that finished the regular season with a winning record, let alone made the playoffs.

pick up francis and trade whatever except our starting 5, deke, jho, or head for mo pete. so we can trade off when tmac and rafer arent on the court by having someone who can drive (francis) and someone who can shoot (mo pete) when replace them.
