For the same money which would you prefer and why.

Gasol, younger, bigger body, blocks more shots, #s have taken a hit playing alongside Randolph but I think he'd be very productive here.

But if gambling on Memphis not matching means we lose out on Nene, no deal.

I voted Marc, but that's because I thought he'd cost less. My choice would be Nene for the same money. I love offensive centers.

Marc is younger and more likely to produce better when featured in an offense. At least in my opinion.

Not only that but the sheer fact that he's younger makes him a more attractive key piece in whatever Hail Mary offer we put together to try to get Dwight.

    Nene, hands down.

Only 3 years older, has played in >75 games each of the last 3 seasons (tough & durable), consistently logs double figures w/ incredible efficiency on offensive end, and he's regarded as a selfless and willing team player. Plus, he's tremendous defensively against the pick-and-roll (crucial considering Houston will eventually have to go thru the best PNR point in the league, CP3, if they intend on winning the West).

Don't get me wrong, Marc brings a lot to the table, as well. But, Nene coupled w/ a healthy, confident Pau is terrifying... (hopefully) surrounded by blue collar 2-way contributors like Lowry, Lee, & Patterson.

    DAMN.

It would make Pau happier about coming to Houston.

Nene is the better player .. but the Gasol brothers might want to stay and play together.

Marc is younger, and is a true center, and he does not have a history of cancer...

Can you stop repeating the same cancer crap in every thread.

ALOT of people have suffered from cancer, many of them made a full recovery rate with minimal recurrence rate.

Recovery for cancer is extremely likely in early stages, especially when it's isolated.

The chance of Nene getting cancer again is hundreds times less likely than a player tearing an ACL or spraining an ankle and missing out the whole season.

gasol is the better, more consistent player. I like nene, but he is limited in his production, not talent.I'd take Kaman over nene if healthy anytime and any day

Not weapons, just the truth, we are talking about millions of dollars etc, and people that have had cancer are more likely to get it again.

I am not happy he had it, just thinking that it makes him more risky.

You guys may not want to deal with the elephant in the room, but it is there for everyone to see.

You obviously know nothing about cancer. And you obviously would be one of those people active in causing discrimination against cancer patients.
