We can form a team of lobyyists consist of Luis, Lowry and Andersen if we are going to persuade Manu to play for us next season. Him and Lowry are tweeting each other frequently these days, making fun of the half naked Luis Scola and Scola's and Andersen's dunks in the games.
I can't hide the fact I have a little bit of a man-crush on Manu. He's just a fantastic player and competitor. I agree with everything he said. I don't really understand why people find it so hard to believe he chose his country over his club, Kobe said he would too. As much as I'd love to see Manu in a Houston uniform, even if it did happen I think Manu would be well past his prime. At least you'd never have to question his character though.
Guys like Manu with that kind of competitive fire, have much longer primes than guys who are satisfied with their fame. DD
MANU is one of the greatest players to play the game, he is so versatile and I would give up tmac to have him. I don't recall another player with as much skill, and calmness as him. I wish we would have picked him up.
Ginobili might be available in 2010... I wonder if he'd play at a reduced cost to be with Scola? If we end up not having the cap space we anticipate (which seems to be the case), he might be a really, really good pick-up. He already knows how to play with a big post player (Duncan), knows how to play with Scola, and a quick PG (Parker)... Yao, Scola, Ariza, Ginobili, Brooks...? That's a damn good line-up for 2010.
