I'm not sure I understand the premise of your bet. The Niners play in the NFL wasteland known as the NFC West, that means 6 out of their 16 regular games are against the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Rams. Compare that with Denver, who goes against San Diego, Oakland, and Kansas City, none of whom are pushovers. Granted the playoff run for Denver will be easier if they make it. But from a regular season standpoint, SF will cakewalk to 11+ wins again.
Wow, I am surprised that they are the pick, but he's clearly shown the most interest in them. I will LOVETebow keeping the Jags out of contention.
There's no sure things in the NFL. I like my chances with a top 5 all-time QB, a good young defense, and the NFL's best rushing attack. AZ, SEA, and STL may be turds, but SD, OAK, and KC stink in their own right... and they're not getting better. And if I lose, oh well, after 25K posts I probably owe clutch a few more bucks anyway.
You have to trade Tebow to keep the circus away from Manning. There are still crazy rabid Tebow fans out there who will put up billboard signs in Denver which will cause a distraction.
Maybe his goal was to find the best situation for him, rather than just chasing a ring with the easiest possible team.

I can't believe he chose Denver over San Fran. I hope it wasn't because he didn't want to be in the same Conference as Eli. Denver Wr's corp is terrible unless they have a move up their sleeves. Would be funny if Denver missed the playoffs and I hope they do.
I thought it would be Denver because Elway is desperate enough to let Peyton control the offense as he sees fit. San Francisco would have been the best chance to win a title, but I doubt a control freak like Harbaugh and a control freak like Peyton would have meshed well. Tebow will be exiled to Jacksonville and I'm sure they'll be stupid enough to pay a 1st rounder or more for him.
i think it has a decent chance of being wallace, thomas, decker, dallas clark, which would be amazing.
