http://www.nba.com/games/20041017/DALORL/boxscore.html Francis puts up 15 points, 13 assists and 8 rebounds, Grant Hill has 20 points....Magic were looking pretty good tonight! (At least that's what my friend says.)
Forget Cat and Francis, this really suprised me: Go Grant Hill, it's good to see him playing so well.
If Grant Hill is back, then he would be the perfect fit for Steve. A Point Forward that can bring the ball up, and then allow Steve to dominate the ball in the halfcourt. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut, that being said, it's really hard to believe that Grant Hill is officially back until he can last a whole season.
13 and 4 is a good ratio. It will not be a factor in this thread. At least it'd better not. I'd take 13 and 4 from a PG anytime.
"Mavericks All-Star forward Dirk Nowitzki went down after a collision with Magic guard Jameer Nelson with 57 seconds left in the third quarter." Now that's tripped out. Nelson looks like he's built like a rock, but come on Nowitzki.
Francis could not have landed in a situation more suited for his talents. If Grant Hill plays, that team will definitely be a player in the East.
When I read this sentence..."the first time" guess what average points Magic would yield this season with the up-tempo attack of our "super backcourt combo"?
Never. Grant will be healthy from here on out. If he has to miss games because of injury it is not going to be more than a couple of games or three. I am very very happy for grant.
I'm going to try to pick up Francis for my fantasy team. I think his numbers this year will be awesome.
I dunno.... His earlier surgeries didn't actually solve the problems he was having - they just temporarily alleviated them. The most recent surgical procedures, however, completely re-aligned his bones and stuff (not being too technical here). That's why his recovery took so much longer. And supposedly, this is a better, proper long-term solution. I hope he has a banner year. He seems like a great guy and he was a fantastic player before his injuries. -- droxford
