obviously down the line, miami is not going to blow orlando out like this. but orlando problems remain the same.

they rely too much on their 3pt shooting; if they're hot, they're lethal. but against a great perimeter defensive team like this, they need a creator to break the defense down to give dwight some help. a prime vince carter would be ridiculous with dwight. but the vince now isn't able to do half of the time.

the only team who can really challenge a miami 3 months down the line is the lakers. they have the skilled big man to pass out of the collapsing defenses. but they also have kobe bryant who can break down the defense if they don't rotate well or shoot over them. it'll be very interesting when the heat do play the lakers.

nevertheless, lewis' pathetic contract is hindering orlando.

I don't get why they trade Turk. Turk is a better creator than Carter. Carter is very inconsistent now.

LeBron is getting Pippen's number, Wade's getting MJ's number there. I don't care what you or some leBron ass kissers think. Pippen's not gonna be better than MJ.

And we've seen in the post-season Orlando's ability to shoot well consistently. This is what they do, not only that I think it's obvious Dwight has improved to another level offensively. They can depend on him, and throw it down low to him and get something good every time now. They did not have this, not even last year. His low post game is much more polished now, we saw it in the preseason and he has shown no signs that it's a fluke.

Good point, going by stats Wade is def. the best player on the Heat. And Gasol is the best player on the Lakers.

Nice try, too bad the committee to decide final MVP disagreed.

I'm talking about this year, since apparently the first week of games is all you need to see who is Batman and who is Robin. So Wade & Gasol are Batman and Lebron & Kobe are Robin. I'm ok with that. Your rules, not mine.

jvg, a former coach, says lebron was the best player on the floor. he was courtside. it ain't my opinion. all they could talk about was lebron this and lebron that.

Kobe&Gasol have played together for almost 3 years, LeBron and Wade, 3 games. We have to judge from what we've seen so far.

The funny thing (not funny as in "ha ha" but funny as in "goodbug is a ****ing idiot") is that goodbug has argued endlessly about how Lebron is only about numbers but when he doesn't put up numbers and helps his team blowout a contender, suddenly he sucks. It's like, pick an opinion and stick with it, dude.

He's just saying the right thing, since ESPN don't want to further embarrass themselves after "the decision". At the end of the day, JVG's still receiving paycheck from it.

LeBron's having more TO than AST for 3 games. I am being nice saying he's doing Pippen there.

LeBron sucks as the Batman, but he's a qualified Robin, I've been saying that for years.

Didn't Kobe have more TO than AST for the entire Finals?

Ha, I've been saying the same thing about Kobe. So again, Kobe and Lebron are Robins, sounds good to me.

dude JVG bashed lebron for the decision and said lebron should apologized in the first quarter. straight up criticized him.

look, if jordan and pippen played, jvg would say jordan is the better player.

JVG saw lebron and wade first hand. all he could talk about in the telecast was how great lebron was on BOTH ENDS.

now that he has wade and bosh, he can focus on other stuff like becoming defensive player of the year.

As I said, you'd have a point had the committee to decide MVP and FMVP agreed with you.

Too bad a facilitator is rarely the best player in the team. Not when you have a prime wing scorer.

I don't think he'll win it over Howard, but Lebron is def. the top perimeter defender for a marquee player in the NBA (that actual best defender is usually an unheralded guy like Eric Snow but they never get any credit). The Heat defense as a whole was amazing.

Dwayne Wade sure looks like the alpha dog to me.

Still, it's way to early to tell, either way.
