Still wouldn't have someone capable of calling last second plays though! Even JVG was hideous at that... it was just 'T-Mac do something'

I have never bought into Orlando being contenders as far as winning a Championship.

Even with Dwight's improved offense he needs a perimeter player that can make plays also. I just don't see it with Orlando. Vince getting hurt definitely doesn't help even though he's not the same Vince as he was back in Toronto.

yup. nobody on the magic can create off the dribble except for Carter and he's been on and off. That and Orlando doesn't believe in a mid range game either. it's like 3 pointers or nothing.

They could win if they got hot at the right time. Even though they lost in 5 to the Lakers, that series could have easily swung the other way with just a few different bounces.

looks like the only true test for the Heat this season in the east will be Boston or Chicago, maybe depending if Boozer and Rose work well together.

Chicago won't be a test. Boston will be good but I'm skeptical they can stay healthy enough to stay competitive throughout the whole season. If they are healthy going into the playoffs, they have a real chance (just like last year).

I think that Orlando can play much better than what they showed in this game

Yeah, they very rarely shoot this poorly. The Heat defense is good... but not this good.

So can Miami. Their offense still looks out of sync.

did anybody noticed Lebron James talking to the refs but he was covering his mouth with his jersey, so you couldnt see what he was saying? this was like in 2nd quarter.
I thought you couldnt talk to the refs.

orlando actually played really good defense. they kept james/wade out of the paint and held them in check for the most part. their lack of offense is what killed them.

The reason why oralano played bad O, was because Miami's D was too good for them.

Last yeat the heat had the 2nd best D in the NBA, this year it will be close to number 1 with Celtics. So it is that good.

6th best last year. They'll be top 3 this year.

Oh, I think they'll be the best defensive team in the league and probably the best offensive one too. However, they aren't going to hold the Magic to 30% every game.

He's also the best player in the team, it can't be more obvious now.

I agree, wouldn't take much from this game. Just like you can't take much from the Heat getting beat by the Celtics.

Orlando will be right there in the end, they just rely too much on their outside shooting.

all i heard during the telecast was about lebron james being the best player though. weird. JVG and mark jackson kept saying that crap i guess.
