Meh, why not? It's just Poland, also if this guy can get elected in an irrelevant country, why not her?
I'm not forgetting history, but the world is a different place today than it was then. If random 3rd world countries want to elect clowns and soap opera stars, I don't see it as being that big a deal.

Well, technically it is 2nd. The old 1st 2nd and 3rd world scale was not based on level of development or any of that. It was based on the Cold War idea of Capitalism vs State Communism -- with America and Europe being the 1st world, the Communist nations being 2nd (including Poland of course) and everything else being 3rd world. Since most of those nations in that geopolitical group were backwards economically, the term became associated with that. Especially now that the Cold War is over, and the divide that was the basis of the terms is gone, now the terms really only are given a level of development meaning.
