Nike has a cool thing to where you can design your own shoes. I wanted to get the new black and red Tmac's by adidas, but I tried them on and they felt bulky and they only made them in 12 or 13 and I need a 12.5. I like the appearance adidas, but for basketball I usually prefer the nike fit. I also don't like the swoosh, it looks cheap to me. So I went and made my own. All black with some red, and I blacked out the swoosh and border so you can't see it. I put the word Houston on the tongue and TMAC's number (1) on the back. You can view the ones I made here: http://nikeid.nike.com/nikeid/index.jhtml#build,basketball,_6c657468616c5f30353038,,34011258
looks expensive, the worst shoes gota be yao's, i had them for half a semester and they are all messed up already, and very heavy.
correct. I couldn't use "rockets" or "tmac" or anything like that, thats why I put Houston on the tongue. It was an allowed word. It costs the same as the shoes cost retail. They don't charge any more for the personalization. However the same shoes I got were on sale at foot locker for $89, but they didn't have my size and didn't have these colors so I paid retail for these, $110. It just depends on which shoe you choose to customize.

I made my own shoes one time. But when it was revealed that they were really just my old shoes with aluminum foil wrapped around them, my customer base was devestated. They have yet to recover and give me any money from the venture.
