I picked up my copy tonight, looks pretty good. Texans red jerseys are in the game and at the intro screen besides players being shown for each team, cheerleaders are also shown. thoughts?
Got the game tonight. It appears running is quite difficult, but you can use the vertical passing game quite well. This is on the average setting so far. The tony bruno radio show, scout gameplans, and newspaper additions to franchise are a nice touch as well. A plus game. A Must own for any football gamer.
You never notice the little slowdowns? It's normally coming out of the huddle, but I've noticed it at other times as well. I've noticed it on NCAA games for the last few years.
no doubt ncaa is an awesome game. but when youre passing over the middle or coming out of the huddle or running in traffic, the game slows down. thats about the only thing i dont like about the game.
On further review, running isn't really that hard it's just dependent on the opposing defense and if you set up a proper blocking scheme.

cousin (works for best buy) told me that the NCAA game is starting to be recalled due to disc not working, game slowing down, etc. Whether true or not, it is interesting giving these complaints... As far as Madden, love it. Plays similar to the old Madden, except now it gives you a lot more control over the defense and offense. Also added, and my favorite, a big hit stick.. where if you're one-on-one you can just unleashed all hell on the opposing player. Great Game. Try again ESPN.
Anybody try it on XBox Live yet? I hear that NCAA 2005 had some slowdowns while playing it on Live. Its still flawless on ESPN 2K5, near perfection.
Best Buy has an online check. I checked my local best buy and it says they have it in stock. I may stop tonight, but still not sure which one to buy. I really like both concepts.
They always say this, yet for the last 3 years I've bought both NCAA and Madden the day they cae out with no problem. They may try to say they will only sell it to you if you preorder another game, but they always cave in when you say you'll just go buy it al wal mart or best buy.
