Im in need of a new computer and would much rather buy a mac, whether its an new iMac G5 or eMac G4. Since the eMacs are the older models you dont see them around anywhere but they are good quality computers and getting cheap. I was wodnering if anyone knew where to go where I can find one. Thanks in advance. If you have any additional help, feel free to add.
You can find refurbished models on the Apple website as well as used and refurbs through http://www.smalldog.com/
ya don't see them around as much because they tend to be used longer than PC's. I used a 9500 until about 3yrs ago, when I replaced it with a G4. My mom's Imac lasted 6yrs. on the other hand, my mother-in-law has gone through an AT&T computer and 2 Dells in the same time period.
usually because PC's are cheaper to upgrade. for ~500 bux with an LCD monitor from dell, who buys used PC's?
