I was sitting close enough to make out something pretty strange last week against the Nuggets - Mobleys Home uniform has his name spelt with a zero, not an "o", M "zero" b l e y. You can tell because it has the slanted cross through the letter, and Olajuwan's or Thomas's doesn't. Bizarre huh? Something else bizarre - Walt Williams played pretty good D last night against Miami.
M0bley was at tonic in downtown saturday night..i am just adding to the useless nature of this thread by throwing out another mobley factoid...with all due respect guys he probably doesnt even notice himself....now that tooth pick in pigs mouth I must admit is a little weird...
I actually have one of Cuttino's old jerseys - it has a "O," not a "0". ------------------ Jen Next round of Nelson vs. Malone: February 24 @ Reunion Arena
What's with you Jenna - sitting courtside, having one of Cuttino's old Jerseys. You're a real "insider". For the record,it definitely wasn't a pinstripe - I was close enough to distinguish that.
I've noticed that Mobley has a zero in place of the "o", as well. I think it is just silly. Here's another question in that regard. Can anyone tell me why the Rockets pinstripes don't stay straight all the way down? It just looks so r****ded, the way that they break up a couple of times on the jersey, like the team couldn't afford to put the jerseys together properly. Anyway, if anyone knows the reason, let me know. ------------------ "I would like to thank... everyone... for their contriboootions" Hakeem accepting his MVP award at the 1999-2000 NBA Finals.
The broken pinstripes is supposed to represent the "afterburn" of the Rocketship taking off. That's what I heard last year.
