If everyone in the country knows our team has had a problem hitting shots for the last few seasons, how come players like Eddie House get picked up for a cheap contract. I mean we could use scrub players like this who can actually hit a wide open shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Head can't make a post entry pass. I mean even my fat butt can make a post entry pass. Oh, I can hit freethrows to.

    Ding ding ding.

I wondered the exact same thing as the game slipped through their hands.

Does anyone know if Adelman watches film or even bothers to show up at his own practices? Seriously, he comes off as a rookie coach who doesn't really give a **** about his job. Even his press conferences scream apathy.

Head is the one throwing the entry pass, because he's our best cutter. In particular, we all know that Head cutting baseline on the strong side with Yao in the post is a money play for us.

Unfortunately, you take the good with the bad. Head is just a horrible passer for a guard.

Absolutely agree, maybe not to the extent that you dislike him, but agree that he has no business doing anything except shooting wide open threes. Anything else results in a turnover or a horribly low-percentage shot. By my count he has singlehandedly lost us 5 games this season with his turnovers in the fourth and his contested 3s with 18 secs left on the shot clock. I have been screaming since the first game of the season that there is absolutely no reason why he should be one of our "creators" during crunch time because all he does is turn the ****ing ball over. So, so frustrating.

The good teams are on to that play and are turning it into a contested low percentage shot.

Brooks haas had a couple of bad games now. So there wasn't any other PG behind Rafer that's a dependable right now.

Rockets need to trade for that backup point guard in Sam Cassell or Jason Williams this moment.

did you watch the game? AB did fine, was able to push the ball and get some easy buckets. Came up with a couple steals and helped this team get the lead.

He had two big steals and pressured Rondo which made it harder for them to get into their set offense. He pushed the ball and got us some good looks on offense. Not everything is won or loss on the stat sheet....watch the game buddy or learn how to play basketball.

luther seems like such a distant persona on the court, like his mind is somewhere else!

In this case, the good was the bad. The one time I saw him run the baseline hand off with Yao, he got scared (for no reason) and threw up some middle school girl's B team reverse layup that looked like it had more chance of going in the Celtic's basket than ours.

Bottom line is that he's inept in every way except spot up shooting when pressure is applied. For a team with playoff/championship aspirations, he can't be asked to do ANYTHING but SHOOT.

Head's turnover's were at the worse possible time, but both he and Brooks had 2 for the game, and Brooks only played 11 minutes to Luther's 33.

Don't know why you're expecting so much from him. Luther is nothing more than an above average 3-point shooter and thats the bottom line.

I too am pretty tired of Luther Head's 1 dimensionalism. His shooting is a welcome sight for a team that's been shooting pretty poorly all season, but he definitely hurts us in many ways too.

His post entry pass to Yao at the end of the game had disaster spray painted all over it.

Luther is better than last season at "creating" and driving to the hoop, but his skills still pale in comparison to quality pg/sg's.

Mike James should be getting Head's minutes, but James can't shoot straight, so here we are stuck again.

When head start dribbling, I know he is going brain dead. I dont want to see Luther crossover dribble, each dribbles counts as a dumb point, and usually after 4 dribbles his brain is dead. That freaking rebound, he was going away the ball as if it was going to bite him.

But Head didnt lose the game for us. At that point, the best we could do was to force an overtime. KG made us lose and we just couldnt keep up.

KG might just be a shot blocker? Head needs to cut down dribbling to an island, other than that he is servicable.
