    keep him and the other expiring, they will become useful near the trade deadline.

    Now, if Adelman plays him or not, i rather have him on the bench for life.

    I refuse to believe he's a playoff chocker until we play a different team. As of right now, he's a UTAH chocker. Who's to say we have to go through them to win the Championship? I'm not saying he isn't a playoff noshow. I'm saying none of us have ever seen him play another team during the playoffs.

    Can I have some of whatever it is you are smoking? I mean seriously, play luther head more? That's the worst Idea I have ever heard. That guy is utterly useless when it comes to playoffs, and he has the worst decision making I have ever seen from a small gaurd. If he doesn't brick shots he turns it over. He can't even finish 3 on 1 fast breaks. And you want to play him more? If we could just get rid of his contract I would be happy. I'd trade him for a piece of bubble gum, because at least that will stick to his man on defense.

    wow. and its worth holding on to him just to see if his inability to perform is simply a symptom of playing the utah jazz?

    there's no question is a horrible team for luther to match up with. but there are many teams which are horrible for him to match up against; aka any team that doesn't run more than one small guard.

    i dont need to see him play against other teams to know that he's an undersized shooting guard who will never 'show up' if he's being guarded or being forced to guard a player bigger than him. there are plenty of teams besides the jazz that will force him to do that.

    Well, that is pretty obvious. But has he made any improvement in those areas since his rookie year for the team to put any hopes on him? I think he even regressed all around this year. If a player hasn't improved/has marginally improved since his first games in the league, it either means that:

    a) he is who he is, has basically reached his ceiling;
    b) he is content of being who he is, meaning he doesn't put in much work during summer;
    c) our coaching staff sucks, which is the least probable cause for the stagnancy in his development as he has had two coaching staffs now.

    And sure, he could (possibly) get better at passing and ball handling but I don't think a player can really improve his decision making and basketball IQ all that much. And he will always be terrible on defense.

    We already have a Luther in Novak, I wouldn't hesitate to include him in a trade.

    Luther is not all that quick for his size as it is. Putting on weight could slow him down even more. And didn't he work on his strength last off season? I distinctively remember Bill talking about it in pre-season. Chances are, he is at his optimal size and won't improve much skills-wise either. Rockets have to decide, if someone with so many deficiencies is worth keeping.

    Uh, you guys don't think Luther will work on his bball IQ during the off-season?

    RA isn't stupid. He and the rest of the staff will iso-ed Luther, and tell him what he needs to do.

    And Luther? Well, he knows what he's got to do to: try and not be traded!

    So by your logic, we're suppose to wait and hope we face another team?

    No thanks, I'll pass.

    Luther Head is one of the dumbest basketball players in the league. Trade him if you can... but what're you going to get after that Utah performance? I've never seen much value in Luther Head. I cringe everytime that guy is on the floor.

    You guys hate Luther way too much; yes it is frustrating to see him play in the playoffs.

    But his regular season stat doesn't lie.

    Mark my words, Morey will give him one more year.

    I don't care about rs, it is all about playoffs. we gotta find better replecement for T-Mac and that will lead for more rest for him, easy

    I liked luther but after 2 performances in the playoffs I'm done

    Even we want to see Head go, why would anyone trade something to us for him? If there is something called negative trade value, he is certainly one. The only ways of letting go of him are to cut him or let his contract expire. So I think the chance of him playing another playoffs for us is higher than him being traded. :eek:

    regular season stats don't lie. they just tell you what you want to hear until you get to the playoffs, then they pack up and leave when it really matters and all you're left with is a memory.

    It's no suprise he wasn't any good in this yrs playoffs given most of his points come from passes from Yao. I still like the idea of packaging him and Jackson for something of worth.
