He is what he is.......if he hasn't learned to dribble yet....then there it is probably not going to happen.

He has value, so I hope the Rockets can get something for him.

If the Rockets can truly get an UPGRADE for him, then fine, trade him. But it is ridiculous to trade him for the sake of trading him, and that's what many of you seem to want to do because you just don't like him on this team for whatever reason. He is an asset to this team right now. Not many players on our team can shoot the way he does and have a FG% over 44%.

Plus, his defense has improved a LOT. And he has also developed into our best 1-on-1 scorer on the perimeter (outside of Tracy McGrady of course). Yes, he's better than Jackson, Alston, and Brooks in that regard.

Also, his "poor decision making" is blown ridiculously out of proportion. He averages less that ONE turnover per game in 19 minutes. In fact, he has a 2:1 A:T ratio. Not half bad for a tweener SG. He makes a couple bad passes per game, sure, but he knows his limitations.

Seriously, some of you guys amaze me... I guess you realized that Alston wasn't enough of a scapegoat to sound credible, so you needed to add at least one more guy to consistently throw the blame onto no matter how well he plays. Luther Head is our best guard coming off the bench. And considering our success with our 2nd line, that is a good thing.

Let's not jump the gun here.

We all know how Luther performed in the regular season last year as well. And we all know how much he stunk it up in the playoffs.

I would hold off on his accolades until he shows that he can bring it in the playoffs and at least perform at the same level that he's doing now.

I would not trade him just to trade him, but he does have value and is an expendable part....that might net us another player that fits in better.

If he could just improve his dribble and passing he would be SOOOOO much better for the team.

    Luther Head epitomizes our team.

He's good, excels at certain skills, not so good at other things. But bottomline, just not good enough to get over hump.

Luther = state of a fully healthy Rockets in the TMac/Yao era

I'm not holding my breath for Rockets on trading him either, if we trade him for an upgrade of a player, expect an upgrade of salary also. Head is pretty cheap for his service (no pun inteneded).

Everyone underperformed in the playoffs last year, man. Literally EVERYONE. With the exception of Shane Battier, I don't think a single shooter or offensive player player matched their regular season averages. At least Head hit a couple big shots for us in the 2nd half of game seven.

Adelman seems to excel at putting players in situations for success.
