I think he's a sharpshooter with high bball IQ isn't he? Just what we need. What do you think about him? Do you think we can get him in the 2nd round?

I guess we don't mind having Bill Walton behind us, do we? :D

Luke is not a sharpshooter by any stretch, but he is getting better. He is a tweener without great range, without PF ht and without SF quickness--but he is stronger than you might think and just a player. He would be a good gamble as a 2nd rd pick--kind of like Najera was for Dallas (a pick we should have kept)--though I don't know if he will be willing to play like Najera.

I like Walton a lot. He reminds me of Shane Battier -- intelligent player with a good feel for the game. Not a GREAT shooter, but he can shoot okay. Luke, like his father, is a great passer and intelligent player. I think he will do fine in the NBA at the SF position, and I'd love to pick him up, even if it means trading into the low first round.

Like Chris Simms, if his last name wasn't what it is people wouldn't be in love with him as much. I think he's a good player.....but don't think he'll be a great pro. Maybe a 6th man....

The last thing we need on this team is someone Bill Walton would like. Bill Walton allready loves Yao, just think how much he would love Luke.

Luke Walton is the greatest player in the History of Mankind!!!! I can't believe that anyone would even consider drafting anyone else!!! What are they thinking!?!?!?The three greatest players ever were Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Michael Jordan, and Luke Walton!!!!!

I wonder how Daddy Walton is gonna treat his son verbally when he is doing play by play, You think he will badmouth him like he does everyone else?

If you watched Walton commentate a game with his son 2 years ago, as well as earlier this year, you would know that Walton doesn't gush over his son.

Luke does not have an ounce of his mother in his appearance.
It's almost like he is Bill's clone

Good post. I think he will be a solid player in the NBA and will be a good pick up for any team

he was trying not too. he was in fact being WAY too critical. if i remember correctly, arizona was winning by 15 and walton was talking about all their mistakes.

i bet walton would love it if his son got drafted by the lakers, since he is so in love with them.
