I like that about him, He reminds of Rajon Rondo looking at it. I think he can drive and kick it out, that is the thing I wanted more for Rafer to do. Lowry is a great finisher too, so that's great news.

Looking at maybe Lowry is the better starter.....but I think this trade is strictly for Brooks to start, which is bad.

Artest or Battier can handle the entry post job if brooks can't.

AB will be the starting point guard. I see the needs for the Magic knowing that all they need is a veteran PG to lead the team. Besides Magic will go deep in the playoff with Rafer navigating the play. I'm happy for both team! Although, Jon Barry think that the Magic got a better deal!

Fact- Kyle Lowry was Drafted in the 1st round (24th pick) of 2006.

I like the way he attacks the basket and he's good at it; maybe even better than Brooks but he has an bad perimeter shot which he needs to improve.

Lowry drives A LOT for a PG. He might not have Rafer's leadership, but this kid can drive and finish.

Lowry will probably start. He's currently a couple of notches above Brooks, and his ceiling is certainly higher than Brooks'. He's a penetrator and a pesky defender. That might not be set now, but I'm almost sure it'll work out that way.

I bet AB starts in the interim while Adelman brings Lowry up to speed but I think the idea is to eventually have Lowry as our starter by the end of the season. He is more physically capable at this point. Plus if Yao get's doubled, Lowry will be a much better cutter option as he is a good finisher and Yao is a good passer.

As much as I love AB, the guy is a bit of a tweener against most 1st team units where the PGs are bigger and so are the guys defending the rim. He has done it a few times so far this year, but I can't see him being consistent in that role. Plus did everyone also forget that AB just came out of a pretty horrific shooting slump in January? You guys act like like AB is one of the best shooters in the league...maybe on this roster, but he's inconsistent just like Rafer was.

It looks like I'm one of only a handful here, but I'm really liking having a little more youth and athleticism plus having a great defensive PG is going to be a real plus for us against certain teams that eat us up every year(Utah/Deron Williams). I still wake up in a cold sweat from memories of Williams carving up Houston year after year.

Lowry is more of a pass-first PG so I do want him to start. Lowry can ignite fast breaks just as well as Rafer Alston can too.

I'm telling you guys, he's either the next Jason Kidd or the next Rajon Rondo. This team needs one of them like those guys on this team.

He's a pass-first PG who is great at playing defense, he may not have a jump shooter but not many PGs are good at it. Really, it's not hard to work on it. I'm sure Lowry will work on it. His defense is what I'm looking forward to seeing and his able to finish and drive.

It's like we finally have the Rafer Alston who plays with NBA fundamentals.

All I will say is this guy gets 1.36 points out of every shot. He draws a tremendous amount of fouls out of his defenders. This one fact is going to help Yao unbelievably. I look for Yao's PPG to increase by at least 3 as we will be getting in the bonus earlier and more often.
