Lowry is better than Rafer in driver and speed, but Rafer was more familiar wth Rox team play than Lowry.

It will take time. I really like Lowry's defense, his ability to drive to the basket and his Bball IQ. Wafer is playing real bad though.

I agree that Lowry has played some bad defense so far but I think he has shown that he has a great ability to drive and dish and draw the foul.
Aaron Brooks has been great though.

He's having trouble trouble defending Barea, but then again it's difficult defending someone faster than Brooks. Hell, Brooks can't even defend him.

Lowry will eventually get settled in. He just needs to work on his passing to Yao.

Eh? I thought his defense was good vs barea. He just hasn't been playing against barea very often in the game.

I'm not going to throw out blanket statements like Lowry > Rafer but I know one thing is certain....

    Lowry > Brooks tonight.

Uh, maybe because he played zero and 13 minutes versus us the previous games.

Lol, he hit 2 threes and a couple of shots against Lowry. To be fair Brooks has been equally bad against Barea.

Barrea is going off because Yao is not showing and NO one else is coming over to help.

This is the Utah series all over again.

ZONE it or do something different...

Yao has to come guard his man, or someone needs to help him.

You were saying something before about Yao and pick and roll defense under Adelman? ;)

    Not the guards fault...

The person man that's setting the pick (Yao or Scola) has to step up....

Man, Lowry is pretty impressive, only one walkthrough He had a couple of turnovers, but the TOs can be reduced with being familiar to the system.

But man, Brooks/Lowry is going to be DYNAMITE.
