Wait till she says it to you... Her: "I love you" You: "I know...it's hard not to" (sarcastically) You may get a laugh or might be punched in the arm, but either way its just as good as saying it back (as long as you don't act surprised or shocked when she says it) without turning yourself into a wuss. Girls may say that they want a guy that says the "l" word first, but the majority of them don't really. But if all else fails, do what feels right.
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64690 That's when DT told me he loved me - we'd been going out for about 2 months at that point.
If you mean "why hasn't DT been on the BBS lately?" - He's been without internet for a very very long time (2 years at least) and the only internet he really had access to was at my apt, but my roomate for the past year hated his guts for reasons I won't get into.... But anyway, so he quit coming over to my apt because of my roomate, so he hasn't had the internet at all for a year and some change now... If you mean "what happened to DT and me?" - We're doing just fine. I helped him and his roommate move into a 2 bedroom house in Hyde Park today - and he got the digital cable/high speed internet package to watch (and post about) the Rox games. the short answer is: he'll be back on the BBS shortly.
I could post that one picture of the OCP ahhhhh forget it. Anyways, you know when it's the right time. You only have a window of opportunity for a limited period of time. Just don't be scared to admit your feelings. Girls will act like they never know unless you tell them how you feel. Don't be scared of rejection.
i told my girlfriend that i loved her after about 1 month(i think). You should say i love you when you realy feel it and mean it. don't ever say it when you have doubts.(IMHO). If you ask yourself if it is to early you are probably right. I do not think that there is a minimum time you should have been together before you can say it, every relationship is different. Good luck with it
My girlfriend and I told each other that our first night. We've been together since (just over a year). You can't put a definitive timetable on these things. My only advice would be that if you're unsure about whether you want to tell the person, then you may be better served reevaluating those feelings and make sure that they're really there. If it's meant to be, it will work out.
there's definitely something there. i'll let the word out, soon, and see how it goes. like i say, two months, but i've easily had the feeling for the past couple of weeks. thanks for the advice people. sorry kam... no pictures. i have some, but nah. meggo, classic thread. was wondering where dt disappeared to and forgot that y'all were together.
The O.C.: "I love you." "Uhhhh. Thank you?" Star Wars: "I love you." "I know." Seinfeld: "I love you." "You know, I'm hungry. Let's get something to eat." More Seinfeld: George: Anyway, I'm thinking of making a big move. Jerry: What? George: I might tell her that I love her. I came this close last night, then I just chickened out. Jerry: Well, that's a big move, Georgie boy. Are you confident in the 'I love you' return? George: Fifty-fifty. Jerry: Cause if you don't get that return, that's a pretty big matzo ball hanging out there. George: Aw, I've just got to say it once, everybody else gets to say it, why can't I say it? Elaine: What, you never said it? George: Once, to a dog. He licked himself and left the room.
So, theoretically, if you were with a person that shared your view of when it is good to say the 'l' word, you might be in a relationship with a person your whole life and neither of you would ever say it.
If you are worried Omega always go with the half step. "I think I am falling in love with you" If it is returned it makes it easier to say the 3 dreaded words. I hope you guys are happy. DD
I had a girlfriend once who kept playing mind games with me. Sometimes she would return and other times not. Good times.
You should say it like that beer(Budweiser?) commercial: "I Love You, Man!" Then, if he says "I Love You Too, Man", then you can say "Seriously?". If he says "Yes!", then you can rejoice. If he says "No!", then you can just say you were joking around like in the beer commercial and go grab a Budweiser out of the refrigerator giving it to him.
