Does anyone know who will be at the NBA Studio representing the Rockets on Sunday? I would guess that CD would do it, but I haven't read or heard anything about it. Thanks for the help.

I think Tim Frank is going to be the one supervising the lottery anbd Carroll Dawson the one on the stage when the results are announced.....

Rockets vice president Carroll Dawson has plans for Sunday. Dawson will represent the Rockets on the NBA Draft lottery stage with plans to have his mojo working. "I have superstitions," Dawson said. "One of my superstitions is not to talk about them. I think it's bad luck. There is one thing I did all through our two championship runs. Every time things got rough, I did it and it worked. It's sort of a Linus Blanket for me. But I can't talk about it." It might not work. The actual lottery, assigning draft order, is held an hour before the game show scene is played out for the cameras. Rockets director of team communications Tim Frank will serve as the Rockets representative in the actual drawing. ... The Rockets worked out frontcourt player Nnadubem "Gabe" Muoneke of Texas. Muoneke is from Houston, considers Hakeem Olajuwon a role model and attended Rockets games at the end of the year...

It's amazing to me that the Lottery drawing is done behind closed doors. There's virtually nothing to ensure us that this thing is done fairly. I doubt that there's any legal citation that anybody can use to dispute this either. I mean, a bad team gets a good pick......legally, what can anyone do about it? Is there any law that says the NBA can't give the best picks to anyone they want? Seriously.
