I don't like the fact that Michael's only reason for killing Anna and Libby was to fulfill his deal with the Others. If he was that passionate about the boy why was he so civil with his ex-wife about custody. Michael's character is ruined for me, the sooner he is killed the better.
I didn't understand how when the Others had Kate and Michael together and were talking to Michael basically right in front of Kate that Kate didn't realize it was Michael they were talking to despite having the bag over her head.
No, they definitely did not. This has been discussed ad nauseam by the show's producers. This was all set from the beginning.
Then maybe their DWI's was a result of the script, I'll leave it at that and avoid the ad nauseam discussions.
I don't think the Others want to kill anyone. The guy who was locked in the hatch told Ana that he wouldn't have killed her. It's more of a last resort (like when he killed the guy in the hole). If they invaded, they would be slaughterd if they didn't bring weapons to defend themselves (since the people on the beach have guns and what not). Letting Mike do all their dirty work is just easier, and they don't have to wash their hands in blood.
Michael's character arc revolves his growing concern for Walt. At first, he didn't know what to do with Walt. Now, he's willing to kill for him. That's actually *gasp* interesting and sounds like development to me. Has Hurley grown at all? What about Kate? Everyone else is pretty much the same person they were before arriving on the island... except for Michael (and maybe Jin and Sun).
I think this whole thing is an experiment... the makeup and Walt saying that the others are 'pretending'
When they brought in Kate, Beardo told Michael "Not a Word" then they gagged him. Kate never heard Michael speak.
I thought she could have figured it out by what they were saying to him, but I'd have to go watch it again.
Mr. Friendly says to Pickett (who's standing next to Kate) to "gag him." Alex says to Michael, "He's just delivering a message, he scaring your friends to do it." Both of those were said within earshot of her. Kate is worthless.
1. I don't like the new direction for Ecko 2. I don't care for the 'corruption of Micheal' . . .he has become a truly weak person I told a friend a while back I felt it was lord of the flies -ish Locke being my pick as Piggy Sawyer and Jack being the opposing sides the installation of the OTHERS has smashed all that The Season Finale maybe a make or break thing for me Rocket River
wow...really??? i don't know how you could have liked this show before and be losing interest now...enough to say the next episode is make or break. i've also never understood how people have patterns for how they think the story should go.....the story isn't ours. it's art created by someone else. we're just watching it. this was always funny to me with the Star Wars nerds who questioned every turn Lucas made. hey...it's HIS story.
I still like Eko..not as much as before but I still like him one of my favorite characters along with sayid, sawyer and kind of jack
