Why do we just keep paying this guys big bucks? Whats the deal. If we pay Rice and Cato this much money, we deserve not to make the playoffs. Rockets need to lose them, and pick them up a solid Pg and PF. The team acts like Rice is Yoda, his presents is going to make them suceed. I dont see him doing anything but poping some three's every so often cause they leave his old butt open. Hes knick trash, we need to dump him to the clippers. If rockets want to get to that next step, they need to pull some strings, or they won't be in the 2nd or 3rd round of playoffs until Francis and Mobley are 34. I think this next season or next Griffin is going to break out and suprise alot of people. Just telling the truth!
I shouldn't even respond to this drivel. I have to ask though, what is your understanding of the NBA, ie contracts, salary cap, the rules for making trades? I mean, if you even understood the basics, you would know why we can't just "lose" Rice and Cato.
I don't know why I'm posting in this thread but... I think he just wanted to show how he could copy and past of a picture of Matrix! ALA
What you just like to pay players money who cant do anything whats wrong with you thread people? geez...
What's wrong with you? We can't just fire these guys. We have to pay them, they are under contract. And since they aren't very good and over payed, just who in the hell is gonna trade talented players back for that? The best we can hope for is that a team wants Rice's contract because it expires after this season and it frees up a lot of money. Of course we would probably end up taking a long big contract, one that belongs to a guy who gets payed big money and isn't worth what he's getting payed either. So we have to ride it. An east team might want Cato and because big men are rare, his contract is almost standard. By the way, Cato doesn't suck as much as you think, he was one of the bright spots last year getting lots of rebounds in limited time and not getting in the way of Yao Ming's progress. Do yourself a favor and read up on the NBA basics before you shoot off threads about getting rid of players. This isn't Sports Radio 610, people here like realistic trade talk, even though lately that doesn't seem to be the case. Now excuse me while I look for another "Let's Get Garnett" thread.
